The JDIQ 2026 will take place from May 29 to June 2 at the Palais des congrès in Montreal. The 2027 edition will take place from May 28 to June 1, 2027.
The quality of home printers may vary, and it is essential that the badge is printed in color to properly identify participant categories.
Moreover, the QR code contains several critical pieces of information and must be readable to be correctly scanned.
Also, for security reasons, all participants must wear a visible badge at all times. Since the Palais des congrès is a public space, only registered participants with a badge will be granted access to the areas where the conference is being held.
The Palais des congrès in Montreal is the only venue in Quebec capable of hosting the large number of JDIQ attendees. Its capacity, facilities, and infrastructure are specially adapted to meet the logistical and technical needs of this large-scale event.
The handouts for the Monday and Tuesday lectures, when when provided to us, are available on the Program page under the Handouts tab. Download the mobile app (JDIQ 2025) from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Breaks during conferences are at the discretion of the speaker. Some presentations include breaks, while others do not.
In 2025, the JDIQ bag distribution was located in the exhibition hall to avoid crowding at the main entrance and allow for smooth traffic flow. For JDIQ 2026, the bag distribution booths will once again be located at the back of the hall at each end.
In accordance with the rules in effect, one hour of lecture corresponds to 1 continuing education unit (CEU), while a 30-minute period corresponds to 0.5 CEU.
There are several reasons why a conference may not appear on your certificate, including:
– To receive the CEUs associated with a conference held on Monday or Tuesday, the participant must have recorded their attendance within the first 45 minutes of the presentation. Anyone arriving after this deadline will not receive the CEUs for the conference and will not be able to claim them after the congress.
– To receive these units, the participant must attend the entire conference.
No. If a participant registers for a course offered only in the morning or only in the afternoon, lunch is not included.
However, if you register for two different courses on the same day — one in the morning and one in the afternoon — lunch will automatically be included in your registration.
The simultaneous translation is powered by an artificial intelligence system that streams the translation directly to your phone. To use this service, please bring your own earphones or headphones.
No devices will be provided on-site.
French translation will be available only for the Monday and Tuesday sessions delivered in English.
For logistical reasons, the congress and the exhibition hall cannot be held on Saturday and Sunday. Setting up the rooms for the pre-congress requires a lot of time, and installing the exhibition floor takes three full days of work, 24 hours a day.
In addition, the Palais des congrès hosts other events, often booked months or even years in advance, which may overlap with JDIQ or end/start just before or after our congress.
Monday and Tuesday lectures operate on a first-come, first-served basis. It is recommended to arrive early to secure a seat.
Given the large number of lectures and workshops (over 100) and JDIQ’s eco-friendly approach, no printed documents are distributed.
A mobile app and the website allow you to view and filter the program by day. In addition, an “at-a-glance” agenda is displayed on giant screens on Level 5.
Yes, for the 2026 edition, the coat check will be available on Monday and Tuesday.
No, the dates are planned several years in advance. The Palais des congrès hosts other events before and after JDIQ, making any changes practically impossible.
Some recurring congresses, like JDIQ, are also scheduled long-term. This time of year is highly sought after, which is why we commit long-term to secure space in the Palais des congrès calendar.
Yes. During registration, each option is clearly indicated, and the corresponding price is listed for each.
Some lectures are recorded (audio/video), depending on the speaker’s decision. These recordings will be available in the fall following the congress on the Dentoform and Dentoform Public websites. To find them, visit JDIQ.ca.
Several factors are considered:
A waiting list is available for these courses: you can email inscription@odq.qc.ca to add your name in case of cancellations.
On JDIQ.ca and the mobile app, in the “Exhibition” section, an interactive floor map lets you easily locate exhibitors and access their profile (products and services, booth number, email, and website).
In addition, a printed map is available at the main entrance of the exhibition.
