How can clinicians streamline ortho-restorative planning while helping patients clearly see predictable outcomes and the value of treatment?
Cosmetic dentistry without pre-restorative orthodontics often forces compromises. Digital tools such as Invisalign Smile Architect combine orthodontic and restorative planning in one platform, enabling clinicians to anticipate needs, design predictable outcomes, and communicate clearly with patients.
In this course, Dr. Joshua Austin shows how Smile Architect enhances efficiency, accuracy, and case acceptance. Attendees will learn strategies for leveraging digital workflows to simplify planning, ensure restorative readiness, and build patient trust. With his trademark humor and real-world insight, Josh makes the complex approachable and equips clinicians with steps they can apply immediately.
Whether the goal is greater case acceptance, stronger restorative predictability, or maximizing digital investments, this course delivers strategies to work smarter while inspiring patients to say “yes.”
Learning Objectives:
- Define the role of pre-restorative orthodontics in optimizing cosmetic outcomes
- Demonstrate how Smile Architect integrates ortho-restorative planning in a digital workflow
- Apply strategies for presenting treatment plans that increase patient case acceptance
- Evaluate communication methods that improve patient understanding
- Analyze step-by-step workflows for incorporating clear aligner planning into everyday practice
- Differentiate when and how to integrate orthodontic alignment to support restorative success
