DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN IMPLANTOLOGY: WHAT WE KNOW, WHAT WE DO, WHAT IS COMING

Presented by:

With the rapid development of digital technologies, the practice of implantology has changed profoundly. At the service of dentists and their patients, this constant evolution seems to offer more control and possibilities. So, what are the clinical advantages offered by this technology?

By presenting simple and complex cases, this lecture will have several objectives:

  • Integrate new key elements, taken from recent scientific literature, for digital implant planning and successful static guided surgery.
  • Integrate the advantages of digital technology, in addition to the simple guided placement of an implant, in particular at the aesthetic and prosthetic level, by the prefabrication of a temporary crown or personalized healing screw before surgery.
  • Determine an individualized treatment plan, based on a digital analysis, for a complete implant rehabilitation: number of implants? Type of prosthetic restoration? Need a bone or gum graft?
  • Discuss the new advances in this digital technology that are beginning and will continue to offer dentists new treatment possibilities.
