Returning to JDIQ, Paul Pelletier is a corporate lawyer, former executive and professional speaker. He is a ground-breaking expert specializing in workplace respect, leadership, diversity/inclusion, and conflict management. Paul is the former Chair of Diversity and Inclusion at the Attorney General of BC and both a member of the Métis Nation of BC and of the LGBTQ2+ community. He is also the author of two books, including The Workplace Bullying Handbook.

Dental schools don’t spend time teaching you how to effectively inspire, engage, manage, coach or developing critical leadership skills.

This full-day leadership boot camp will cover all the leadership skills that you need to build a dental practice that will reflect your values and goals and attract and retain great staff and patients. Leadership is vital to the success of your practice – it takes skill to inspire, support, mentor, and performance manage staff and build a successful business.

As a leader, your role is to serve those you lead using skills that build confidence, competence, adaptability, trust and empathy. Successful dental leaders also intentionally build a workplace culture that is inclusive, values accountability, honesty, compassion and patience. They lead by example and coach their staff to develop conflict management skills, and emotional intelligence.

This presentation helps dentists and dental office managers successfully lead their teams and build practices where everyone thrives. Participants will learn how to be respectful and respected leaders. They will develop tools and skills that help them succeed as leaders.
